Home PageWe are happy to take orders throughout the year for our delivery round in November, which covers all of Wales and most of England. We are also able to despatch trees by courier throughout the UK and Europe from then until late February or early March, but only up to the couriers' limit of 3.5m in package length. For the occasional larger specimens we may be able to arrange delivery ourselves depending on the location - please ask if you might need this service.
Customers are welcome to collect their trees from the Nursery at any time of year, provided that this is arranged in advance.

So that we can help you to make the best choices for your location and needs, and to avoid the chance of your ordering a size or variety which we can't supply when you want it, we don't take direct on-line orders.
Prices
We now sell trees in three sizes and in several price bands, after some years of using four sizes and flat-rate pricing across varieties. We have also corrected an historical anomaly which meant that our sizes included the root system - the sizes now refer to the planted height and are:
- Size 1: Up to 2m in overall height
- Size 2: Up to 2.5m in overall height
- Size 3: Over 2.5m in overall height
The basic price point is Band A and includes our most popular varieties, which in general are the easiest to grow in the UK climate. A little more expensive is Band B, containing less common varieties and some which are more difficult for us to graft successfully. In Band C we have the rarest and most difficult varieties, as well as specimens of related species. Band D is very similar to Band C, except that the trees are classified by the VAT authorities as 'ornamental' rather than 'nut-bearing' so attract VAT at the standard rate.
Generally we will consider discounts for larger orders of varieties in Bands A and B.

Delivery
Our delivery charges do not attract VAT unless Band D trees are contained in the order.
Delivery is £20 for the first tree and £5 for each additional one.
